  • Little Nan's Bar.

I Made a lot of stuff for Little Nan's over the years. From bar furniture, to light up signs, curtains, product packaging, storage solutions, pretty much everything. Tristan Scutt, the owner and friend, always had a list of requirements that might have panicked most. Sometimes with only a couple of days notice To make sixteen 8x4' flats, two tented rooves, 20' light up sign for the front and a lot of festoon nets. Or somehow fitting a service area into a couple of meters square.

When more time was available I helped with everything from drawing up plans for council submission. Working out the best use of limited space. And how best to construct the interiors. I even made suggestions that led to a streamlining of the cocktail making process.

    LITTLE NAN'S DEPTFORD.

Working with Little Nan's creator Tristan Scutt to create a permanent home for the, multi award winning, Little Nan's brand in Deptford.

Layout concepts were designed. Later scale drawings were created for lasing with the council and site developers.
Bar Upholstery, lighting arch concept, curtain installation and seating upholstery were also installed.

    LITTLE NAN'S TROPICAL.

    Four commissioned Light/artwork pieces.
Designed, Built, Wired and installed at Little Nan's Tropical pop-up Nunhead.
Brief was Tropical 50s, flying, the Caribbean and Pat Butcher.
Light box window also changes colour. Clear PVC fabric was layered to creative a reflective water effect. Intended to open up a basement space.

    LITTLE NAN'S 90s TAKEOVER.

Selection of Light up signs and light up frames created for Shorditch pop-up. Featuring Princess Diana and singer Gabrielle.

An interesting build/install owing to the location's size and it's being in the basement, down stairs and through several non standard sized doors. 30 custom brackets were built for a shelf feature around the room. Modular back bar was built so that it can be used at future pop-ups or events. It was also painted with a "G-Plan" style paint effect to fit in with the retro bar acting as front bar. This was also raised on a plinth. A booth seating area was created from previous venues swags, tails and curtains. It was requested that these remained undamaged and storage was created underneath. An over-sized deep button seating area was also created.New Paragraph
