MUSIC

I have always taken inspiration from music. Producing since 1998, the days of hardware synthesizers and sequencers where every beat and bass line had to be programmed, has given me a solid understanding of the structure of music.
In 2010, after a series of gigs at the Albany Deptford warming up for acts such as Tiny Tempah, Pendulum and The Quemists Matt Sargent and co-promoter Tristan Scutt decided to start the Deptford Army club night. Harking back to early days of dance music where different styles mixed. At the time this was unusual, as almost all dance club nights featured only one genre of music.
The alias "DEX LUTHA" was created to headline the night; playing hard, but broader appeal Drum and Bass. I'm a member of PRS. Please contact me should you wish to use any of my music commercially.

Previously producing alone, in 2010 I gained a huge passion for collaboration with other producers, musicians and vocalists. Ignited by a shared passion for music with Charles Smith, we embarked on an eclectic journey of music production. The strongest themes emerged in Hip-Hop and Drumstep instrumental, leading to creating dirtyearth.biz

At the same time I started producing with Leon Rhymes (Too Many Ts). We're  working on an EP.

I also featured on the Too Many Ts - Running Wild EP with Standaloft, Rhymes and HypeMan Sage.

Finally, here is a track sampler. I hope you enjoy!
